Target has this on sale on Black Friday for $25. If I wanted anything from Black Friday sales this year, this might be it. I don’t have a place for a heavy duty $300 kitchenaide one, but this might work.

Oh and Sears has a down comforter for $20. Probably that too. Oh consumerism!

We never use black friday sales for gifts for other people, just things we need that are exceptionally inexpensive, like a front loading washer dryer set for $600 or a two sides of the bed controlled electric blanket for $40. That blanket really helps on the heating bills, we set our thermostat pretty low in the winter. (those were last years deals.)

This year, we’re planning on getting jeans for Sam, and possible a down comforter to replace our current comforter (3 yrs old, been through 3 moves and altogether not attractive any more)

Wow, this turned into a “Why I love Black Friday essay”. Oops.

Not only did one of my friends get picked on in a public forum, (HOW OLD ARE YOU, btw?!) I found out that my cat has some kind of urinary tract problem. I don’t even know what to do because the vet who “diagnosed” her might be wrong, according to a relative veterinarian I know.

I haven’t found a veterinarian for our cats that is comprehensively smart.

Example:

Current vet giving me our cat back from getting a urine sample:

“Don’t forget to give her the antibiotics I prescribed.”

Me: “Um…. you haven’t even tested her urine yet. (?!) Why would I give my cat drugs when you haven’t diagnosed her? (in my head ‘are you an idiot?’)

And then today they prescribed a 5.5 pound bag of food for $20 that she will have to be on for the “rest of her life” to keep this condition under check.

And all the while, it may be possible that she just needs to eat wet food for more water consumption.

If any of you have a good vet suggestion…..?

Obviously, I enjoyed this edition of Natalie Dee more than I probably should.

Yeah, I might have about 15 UFO’s or WIP’s (unfinished object or work in progress) stashed around my house. It’s hard because there is just so much awesome yarn/ideas out there. I’m trying to be better about buying yarn and trying to finish projects before I start a new one. However, it’s not going SO well.
